Fruitland City Ordinance 6.02A

Section 2: All dogs and cats 6 months or older must have a current rabies vaccination and must wear a tag indicating this and the owner's name and address.

Section 5: An animal may not run at large, meaning that if it is not on the owner's property, it must be under the control of a competent person, restrained within a motor vehicle, on a leash, or "at heel" beside a competent person and obedient to that person's command.

Section 10: Pit bulls are prohibited.

Section 12: Each property can have no more than three dogs.

Violations of this ordinance can result in a ticket and/or impoundment of the animal(s).
